The format is 60 minutes of instruction, followed by supervised practice time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topics include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Safety and Aseptic technique<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Materials and supplies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Basic suturing and removal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Playing with sutures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants should be familiar with needle play or similar, have knowledge of gloves, sharps containers, drop sheets, etc. Participants will learn and practice on fruit peels \u2013 there will be no practice on people during this workshop.
