It’s just over two weeks away! We are looking forward to attending visiting DC and Winterfire again, for the first time in several years. Winterfire was the first Dark Odyssey event that we went to, and so it is very special for us.
We are happy to be able to announce the classes we will be teaching at Winterfire 2023:
Struggle Play and Rope
Mixing grappling with rope bondage? What could be more fun? This is a hands on class that works best with a partner, but observers are always welcome.
Rough Body Play
Slaps, punches and kicks, oh my! Instead of bringing a whole bag of toys to play, we can just bring our own bodies. This is another hands on class that goes best with a partner, but observers can enjoy it too.
Why do I like this??
This class will explore elements of play often considered the most taboo – diving into someone’s psyche and finding ways to hurt them psychologically, emotionally, and sexually. This is a discussion based class.
“That’s not what I meant!” Practical communication in Play
This class is a mix of discussion, question and answer, and some practical exercises. We look at ways to effectively communicate mid scene, without having to “break the scene” to talk.
